We are group who has worked exclusively on
different aspect of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.), family
    -Fabaceae.

I am looking on preparing a short ms on localities that has fenugreek use
or market or cultivation of fenugreek outside the reported conventional
area. We are actually working on the fenugreek distribution in North
America and South America as well as Africa. This is a spice and aromatic
crop also used as medicinal plant.

I am interested if you could kindly check and provide us any information
of fenugreek/methi seed and leaves use/availability/sale in the local
market of Namibia that would be so much appreciated. We also would
like to know if fenugreek is cultivated in Namibia (even if it is a
minor crop), in which parts is the crop grown, if the crop is not grown,
are the seeds imported and where is this seed imported from?

If there is any published report or any specific internet link on
fenugreek production in your country that would do too.

If by chance you know of someone in the country who could provide us with
better information that would be so much appreciated.

Thanks and look forward to hear from you.

Thanks for your query – I am no expert on fenugreek or Namibia myself, but have forwarded your query to contacts in the region. I will get back to you as soon as I hear back from them.
