Jonathan directs all field conservation activities implemented by the Zoological Society of London. He has vast experience with global-level Red Listing, having been an editor of the 1996 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals and the 2004 IUCN Red List of Threatened Species: A Global Species Assessment. Jonathan has led the development of a Mongolia Red Listing programme, which thus far has assessed all native mammals, fishes, reptiles and amphibians.
